System Security Guard is an alternative solution when it comes to the security of your system. I personally recommend this small tool given that fact that it doesn't require many system resources (RAM, CPU, etc.), and also proved to be very efficient during my testing. Moreover, popular anti-virus programs didn't conflict with System Security Guard.
While running, the program performs background security checks and provides notifications regarding potentially dangerous files. It also monitors active processes and services in order to ensure additional protection for your system. Its clean interface consists of four tabs: Status, Security Check, History and Settings.
You will find information provided by the background scanner in the Status tab. You will also get notified if a system scan is required. The scanning results will be displayed in the History section. System Security Guard supports multiple languages and can be set to run at system startup. From Settings tab, you are enabled to change the way the Background scanner works. Additional information about the scanned files is displayed on the developer’s website.
For those who are careful when it comes to their system security, System Security Guard proves to be a reliable tool.
